Standard Terms and Conditions
All training and on-site services supplied by Shire will be subject to the following terms and conditions, unless agreed in writing by an authorised representative of Shire Systems Limited.
Scheduled Courses at Shire Training Centres
- All bookings for training course places must be confirmed in advance by either credit card payment, cheque or purchase order.
- You may reserve a place on a training course, but unconfirmed reservations will only be held for a maximum of 14 days, after which the place will be automatically released for other customers.
- The normal closing date for bookings is 14 days prior to the date of the course. If an insufficient number of delegates have registered for the course by this stage, we will review the situation and reserve the right to cancel the course.
- If the course has to be cancelled for whatever reason then we will contact you immediately to arrange an alternative date.
- We will send joining instructions to you approximately 2 weeks before the course is due to start. These instructions will include course information, maps and hotel lists.
- We will normally invoice you 14 days prior to the course date.
- If you cancel your booking giving less than seven clear days notice, or if your delegate fails to attend, you will not qualify for any refund and we will charge the full course fee.
- If you transfer your booking to a different date giving less than seven clear days notice, we will charge the full course fee for the originally booked course, but will allow a credit of 50% of that charge against the price of the new course.
- Once a course has commenced no credit will be given for early termination at your request.
On-site Training and Services
- All bookings for on-site training or services must be confirmed in advance by either credit card payment, cheque or purchase order.
- We will normally invoice you 14 days prior to the planned delivery date.
- If you cancel your booking giving less than seven clear days notice, we will charge you up to 50% of the total charge to cover any costs we have already incurred and to compensate for loss of earnings.
- If you rearrange your booking to a different date, we will charge you for any costs that we have already incurred that cannot be recovered or transferred to the new date.
- Once delivery of the requested services has commenced no credit will be given for early termination at your request.
