| Overview: | The delegate will be taught to create stock records, allocate suppliers, take/make deliveries, issues, returns, transfer and adjust stock levels. The course also contains a comprehensive management reporting section and essential control functions such as security and data backup. |

Detailed Content:
Introduction & Navigation
A brief overview of the system's functions and processes supported, coupled with some basic windows navigational hints and tips.
Stock List – Searching & Finding
Locating stock items, by use of the main screen and filter. Checking stock levels, supplier information, current order details and movement history.
Adding & Editing Stock Records
Adding new stock items, creating bin locations, discussion of numbering systems and grouping structures. Adding suppliers and setting up initial stock levels and prices.
Code Tables
Adding, editing and deleting data from the codes tables (drop down help files). Creating new stores, bin locations, suppliers, etc.
Spares Kits & Parts Lists
Creating kits of spares from standard stock items, issuing and returning kits. Building parts lists manually and automatically against maintenance module assets.
Stock Movements
Day to day operations such as issuing, returning, receiving and adjusting stock items.
Stocktaking
Producing stocktaking lists, recording true stock levels, generating book stock error reports.
System Settings
For key users: Currency conversion, processing rules, creating new users, security access, password control, general management and data backup.
Standard Reports & Design
Running standard reports, selecting, sorting, printing and exporting data to other systems. Designing your own reports using basic report templates.
