The best way to initially learn about Shire’s Computerised Maintenance Management Software – or CMMS in general - is to attend one of our totally free and hugely popular Roadshows.
For a number of years we’ve been travelling all around the UK and Ireland hosting these events. We’ve delivered in excess of 50 Roadshows and met more than 1000 maintenance professionals from hundreds of companies in all sectors of business. Each Roadshow focuses on the practical issues involved in selecting and implementing CMMS software - and each provides the opportunity to discuss your own needs and experiences with the presenters and other participants.
These Roadshows are generally delivered by Chris Lee, software applications specialist with over 20 years of practical, hands-on engineering experience. Chris is supported by other highly knowledgeable colleagues from Shire.

Morning Session- ‘Introduction to FrontLine’
You may already use FrontLine CMMS and need a refresher on some parts of the software - or new members of the team may need bringing up to speed. On the other hand, you may be just interested in gaining more knowledge about these types of systems, how they work and what benefits they can provide for you and your business.
This morning session will give you a practical guide to implementing a CMMS software package – what to consider and how to avoid those all too common mistakes that people make. We will provide a detailed overview of the system and its functionality and look at alternative ways of using the software. We’ll also deal with those important timesaving shortcuts and offer other useful tips!
During this session we’ll cover the core FrontLine modules of: Maintenance Management, Stock (Parts Management) and electronic Work Requesting.
Afternoon Session – ‘Mobile Maintenance Solutions’
This session looks at Shire’s mobile maintenance and stock control solutions. We’ll show you how the system interacts with your existing FrontLine software and the benefits and savings it can bring to your organisation. We’ll discuss the technology & hardware requirements, barcoding, RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification tagging), etc.
If you want to make dramatic financial savings, improve the quality of the information returned by your engineers, or simply reduce the administration burden, then this session is a must for you.
