The ISO 9001:2000 standard is an internationally recognized quality management system standard developed by the International Organisation of Standardization.

The standard specifies requirements for a quality management system that can be used for internal application by organisations. It focuses on the effectiveness of the quality management system in meeting customer requirements.

In order to meet the requirements of certification to this standard, Shire have implemented a quality management system covering the design, development, quality assurance, testing, and release procedures of our software products and services.
