Overview
Gain fingertip control of all your parts and supplies - whether you choose to keep stock records or not. FrontLine Stock Control is the natural partner to Maintenance Management because work stops and your customer waits when the right spares, materials or tools aren't at hand. This highly intuitive system includes:
The system's capability includes:
- Parts, materials and tools catalogue
- Suppliers' directory
- Stores movements - tracking and tracing
- Stock-take
The first two are a boon to time-poor maintenance mangers! Your life is just so much EASIER when FrontLine Maintenance Manager and Stock Control are operated together.
Keeping repair jobs moving and the wheels turning often means maintenance engineers have to spend exorbitant amounts of time frantically running in circles sourcing spares and other essentials. This is a major distraction away from their value-adding responsibility of improving plant reliability. Thankfully, this unsatisfactory situation can easily be sorted with a better system. As with all things ‘maintenance', good information holds the key to increased operational efficiency and an easier life.
Unfortunately, the information available from an organisation's often impenetrable financial accounting system is totally inadequate for the requirements of maintenance. Improvised, unstructured systems frequently bridge the needs gap. Maintenance engineers horde vital information in business card folders, well-thumbed note books and desk drawer files. However, much of this information is impractical for anyone else to retrieve. In addition, a good deal of crucial information about parts and suppliers simply goes unrecorded - it remains in one or other person's head. The bottom line is that some organisations are overly reliant on the knowledge and memory of single individuals. For asset-intensive organisations, this is an immense strategic risk to production and service delivery.
You can eliminate the risk – and all the frustration, job delays and time-wasting - by using Frontline Stock Control. Even when you've no wish to apply rigid track and trace control procedures to parts and materials movements, this easy-to-use system can provide the information necessary for increased maintenance management effectiveness and efficiency. The system enables you to minimise the time you have to spend shopping and scrounging around for needed bits. Just imagine how your life would be transformed with the mine of information you could so easily have at your fingertips - just a few clicks away.
